The reunion was held in Santa Barbara

We met in the lobby. 36 years is a long time but we could still recognize old faces
|
Several people had already arrived earlier in the day
|
It was great seeing each other again
|

Several folks were hungry so a group of us went for a bite to eat
|
Back at the hotel and more people arrive
|
Everyone got a "Peace Corps Trainee" badge just in case we couldn't recognize each other
|

On the way to Kevin Snow's house we picked up Dewleen at the trainstation

Kevin has a beautiful house nestled in the Santa Barbara hill.

and make new acquaintances

That night , as Hugh Leong led the way back to the Hotel he was stopped by the city police

According to Hugh The incident was "reported" in the Goleta newspaper
|
The next day Kevin Wheeler and his wife, Sakorn arrived
|
We all had breakfast at the hotel

Then we went sightseeing in Santa Barbara

Our first stop...the botanic gardens

At the ticket booth several of us lobbied for the Senior Citizens rate.

We all wandered around in little groups

... toured Toad Hall, a building made out of willow branches. It's actually alive
|
