annual parade in Nakorn Srithammarat

Parade outfit was made for me and the skirt was rather short consideirng how we usually dressed but it was a one time affair--thank goodness, the paragde was the total lengt of Nakorn Srithammarat which was seven miles--rather long given the temperatures and humidity.

I tagged along with these four because they were going to Bali and Angkor Wat, both places I wanted to see. We had some good adventures on this trip but we never made it to Angkor Wat. I see Dainne Sherman did.


 

I think this might be one of the entrances to the emerald Buddah temple in bangkok

I wish I had labeled tings better. This might have been taken in Bangkok or perhaps in Chiangmai.

I took a lot of these photos, didn't I? I think I was in awe of the costuming and dancing--I saw nothing like this up in Loei--Nakorn was a much richer town--bigger too.
