While in the Peace Corps Michael Schmicker found time to travel extensively throughout SE Asia. He wrote many articles for the Bangkok World Magazine under various pen names. "A.A Maytree", "John Boyd Weibel" and "Thomas Farthing". His articles covered a wide range of topics from the War to fortune telling . Here is a sample of some of his writings.
Mike was the editor of our Peace Corps Magazine, "Lotus,". Many Thai 27 members had a hand in the publication.
