We had shower curtains for doors to our cubicles.
The walls were plywood and not soundproof at all.
All our bed springs creaked like crazy. I'm sure a lot less was going on than it seemed!
I remember the trainers telling us not to spend too much time together because married couples in Thailand didn't do that. Then they'd ask if everything was ok because we hardly talked to our spouses. Trying times...
