Harold and Dewleen Hayes taught at the Petchburi Teachers College for one year.
During that time Dewleen got sick three times and they decided to terminate and return to the US.

Harold and Dewleen divorced around 1973-74. Dewleen later went to medical school and remarried.

Harold graduated from the Military Masters Fencing Program at San Jose State University and has had over 30 years of fencing experience and teaches foil, epee and sabre

Harold currently owns and operates a fencing school Pacific Fencing Club in Alameda, California.
